Remember custom seat covers are NOT the same thing as purchasing slip covers. Custom seat covers are factory fitted custom covers and are held down with hog rings; just like factory original covers that come when the car is new. When having custom seat covers installed into your automobile, your upholsterer is going to have the opportunity to re-pad and repair any areas that have worn over time. Slip covers merely go over what is already there and are usually held down with Velcro. What we are talking about is having the old upholstery removed and changed/updated with new.
